It's Time to Say Goodbye

It's time to say goodbye. I know, I've said it many times before. But what makes the difference this time is that DETERMINATION came along! It had been a hard time. Well, it had never been good anyway. Falling for the wrong person... I don't get it. Why does this happen to me all the time? Because I always fall for those who seem perfect to me? Is there anything wrong with that? But my friend told me before that, eventually, the one who belongs to me will not turn out to be as perfect as I wanted. How fair is this? Must I believe that this can only depend on fate? No, too difficult...


What finally made me give up was that I discovered that he likes somebody else. Since the beginning, I had never expected him to have considered me. Okay, maybe I had, because of something he did. Nevertheless, I still fell for him, despite my strong resistance, because somebody had been encouraging me. Perhaps, I should neither blame this friend because she is just being a supportive friend, nor regret this feeling I gave up because it is somehow worth something no matter the value. Anyway, I hope that this really is the last time I said goodbye. It would be so tormenting if it didn't make it to leave me behind.


Thinking back, if i really were a bear, I wouldn't have to bury this feeling but would have expressed it the moment I discovered it. Oh well, it doesn't matter anymore right now. I gave it up!

If Humans were Robots

How I wish I were a robot! Except that I still want to keep my human brain. The biggest goal in my life is to excel academically. But, I'm afraid, due to various factors, I have yet to achieve the ideal results I desire. Well, I used to attribute this to the insufficient 24 hours in a day, hoping that, someday, it would somehow turn out to have 48 hours a day. Of course, I realised that it would never happen. As time elapsed, however, this idea suddenly crossed my mind that it might help if I have become a robot. There are so many things that a robot doesn't have to do but a human does.

First of all, daily routines, things that a human must do everyday in order to sustain life - eat, sleep, shower, etc. I would say these kinds of things are rather time-consuming. What bugs me is that if a human doesn't eat or sleep enough, he would probably not function as normally. So, if I ever were a robot, I wouldn't even have to think about them and I could make full use of that time to study.

Secondly, that little thing that has a huge effect on a human's performance - feeling. Of course, there are many sorts of feelings and not all are bad. But, somehow, good feelings would not stay for long while bad feelings tend to linger within, making you feel crappier than ever. Say, if the feeling of affection for another person exists, then you would tend to think of that person most of the time, which is the dumbest idea ever because you might not even cross that person's mind at all. But what sucks the most is that you can't control it. I would say, if humans didn't have any feelings, then there would be one less distraction.

Thirdly, temptations of all kinds exists in the world. It might be to hang out with mates or watch a movie or whatever. The closest temptation would be the internet. More often than not, when I surf the net for assignments, I end up chatting on msn and wasted a whole night's time that I can use for studying. Damn it!

These temptations are just distracting me from what I should be doing. See, if humans were robots, or at least partially as in appearance plus the brain, these things wouldn't occur to them and they can just concentrate on achieving their goals. But, of course, I am aware that if humans have become robots, everything else would not be the same anymore. Perhaps, challenges wouldn't be challenges anymore and life may turn out to be less thrilling. As things have always been, there are many aspects to one matter. Who knows if there could be some aspects that make being a robot the worst nightmare? (Shrug)

Stories are only stories, afterall

Stories and fairy tales are always incredulously perfect. Girls always get to meet cute, handsome guys; love stories never ended without "happily ever after"... As I said, they are so ever incredulous - in real life, those perfect story lines are never gonna happen! More often than not, they will just leave you craving for the impossible.

What inspired me of this idea was a story book I found in the Tshung Tsin Secondary School (TTSS) library two days ago. In this book, "When Irish Guys are Smiling", the girl, Delk, applied for the Students across the Seven Seas (S.A.S.S) to transfer to a school in Connemara, Ireland. It was all meant as a respite from family issues (as usual - remarriage, step-mother and a new half-sibling; plus, her mother's gone to heaven). There was this Mr. Keneally (I'm not sure what his exact occupation is, but let's just assume he's the driver for now. Lol) who picked her and another student, Iris, up from the airport upon arrival.

This Mr. Keneally has a son, Pather Keneally. According to the author, he is cute. Delk thinks he is sexy, too. (Oo..la..la..) So, Delk suspected herself of another crush. (Back home, she is averaged to have one crush a month!) They got along well pretty soon after knowing each other. The next day, Pather had to deliver wood to the campus for students who complained about the terrible cold. And he was thoughtful enough to bring some for Delk as well! (Apparently, Delk did not complain yet. She was still in bed when Pather came for the delivery.)

Suspense arises here - could Pather have fallen in love with Delk??? Shall we go over the factors?
Factor 1: He would only deliver wood to those who complained. He made exception to Delk.
Factor 2: He referred to Delk as "love" twice during the delivery, once when they first saw each other and another when Pather was about to leave.
Factor 3: Delk asked Pather if he was supposed to deliver wood to every room in the campus. Pather explained that he would only deliver to those who complained, and blushed before he added that it was exceptional for Delk.

Sorry that the story will have to end here for the mean time as I have yet to finish the book. The new semester is starting in two more days. Sigh... Hopefully, I will have the time to finish it up before heavy schoolwork occupies my time again! And that is only if the book is not borrowed by somebody else!!! (Fingers crossed!) Why didn't I borrow it? Because it is the library of TTSS, not IS. IS students would have to pay RM100 to borrow! >.<

Hi there! I am Tiramisu Bear. I love teddy bears so much that my friends often associate me with bears; while tiramisu is one of my fav desserts. Well, buddies, here's my blog! Yup, eventually created one after much refusal. What to do? I failed to resist the temptation after reading Yein's and then Marilyn's and then Jing's. The craving in me was too strong! It's simply as bad as having a piece of tiramisu in front of me, after not eating for 3 whole months, yet I am not allowed to eat!! I somehow managed to dig out some excuses for creating this blog. HAHA!
1. The easiest way to be updated on friends apart. (Apparently, I have been ignoring the fact that reading their blogs will be much more informative than mere chatting.)
2. It is a good way of collecting precious memories in our daily lives.
3. It is easier to ask for comments.
4. It is absolutely an excellent strategy on improving your English, especially by reading other people's blog. (Thanks to my mentee, Fiona, who inspired me. And Yein as well. Her English is marvellous, I am learning as I read.)
Having created this blog, I planned to make full use of it. I shall be creating several sections where related issues can be discussed. They are there to serve such purposes as, creating public awareness, seeking for opinions, sharing thoughts, etc. Comments are most welcomed! Anyone can feel free to drop a word. :) Finally, my dearest friends, i hope that our friendship will be strengthened with better understanding through our blogs.
